Services For Every Women
Dr.
Corney knows how you feel
Dr. Corney has devoted her medical career to providing the finest obstetrical
and gynecological care in the Hampton Roads area. Working with her staff, she
has always been diligent in providing, you our patient, individualized care. She
provides counseling and information on most women's health issues including
menopause, pelvic pain, stress incontinence, and PMS. Dr. Corney believes that
it is important to discuss all medical options available to her patients.
Dr. Corney's medical services consist of physical examinations, non-invasive
tests, ultrasounds and minor surgical procedures as they relate to gynecology.
Her in-patient services consist of surgical procedures unique to women, such as
hysterectomies and treatment of urinary incontinence.
Innovative techniques and technologies also allow us to perform many
surgeries, from laparoscopy to hysteroscopy, on an outpatient basis, which
reduces the cost of surgical care. Plus, by using these minimally invasive
techniques, they can help you recover more quickly with less scarring and
discomfort.
Dr. Corney takes the time to listen, to really hear and understand your
concerns. Because she believes in your right to choose, and encourages
your active participation in your own health care, she spends time openly
discussing your problems and the range of options you have available. However,
when surgery is necessary, she will work with you to choose the appropriate
surgical procedure, according to your individual need.

Insurance
We request that full payment for all office visits, services and related
tests be made at the time services are rendered. Please remember that payment of
medical services is your responsibility and the agreement with your insurance
company to pay medical costs is a contract between you and that company. Please
always bring your insurance information to your office visit. Please advise the
office of any changes in your insurance coverage.
As a convenience to our patients we will file their insurance claims for most
office and hospital surgical procedures. However, patient deductibles and
co-payments are due at the time of service. Patients will then be billed any
remaining balance after insurance company payments are received by our practice.
If patient balances remain past due after 60 days, a 1.5 percent charge is added
to the balances. After 90 days past due, balances are sent to a collection
agency. To discuss your bill,
